Outspoken Ghanaian songstress, Mzbel has replied Yvonne Nelson for slamming the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over poor road networks in the Volta Region.
According to the ’16 years’ hitmaker, the roads are deteriorated because the current government hasn’t made any efforts to work on it.
Yvonne Nelson who recently premiered her movie in the Volta Region took to social media to lament over the poor road networks in the region that is known for massively voting for the NDC.
In a post, the sultry actress wrote: “By the way, VOLTA REGION, I am shocked!!!! After all your strong votes and numbers, your major road network from Akosombo to Ho is terrible, one can easily die on this road! I cant believe it, we swerved potholes like playing football”.
Mzbel who is a staunch supporter of the NDC, swiftly rebutted the claims arguing that the road wouldn’t be bad if the current government had work on them.
“I don’t mean no harm whatsoever but Obaa what u dont know is that roads not maintained for 2 years will deteriorate. The current government has not worked on that road for two and half years”. Mzbel wrote
“Let’s put politics aside and speak as Ghanaians”! she added
