
Rapper Obibini has described the older generation of rappers as more lyrical in comparism to the current crop.
The Zylofon Media artiste told MzGee in an interview on ‘The Gist’ that there’s a huge difference in music between the older rapper to the new generation.
“There’s a big difference. It has actually changed and I think both eras had their golden times and their downsides.
“I feel back then, they were more lyrical for instance when you take the likes of Obrafour, Rockstone and Lord Kenya. But these days because of the trap, people are more into the beats, the sound and the rhythm. But its all good since morning is coming into the game.” He explained
Asked if the focus on the money will not derail one from building a good legacy, the ‘statement’ rapper retorted: ” Money fixes everything so as you are building a legacy, you must make the money as well.”
