Manager of hiplife duo Keche, George Britton has alleged that Ghanaian hip hop musician, Pappy Kojo has turned into a chain smoker.
According to the popular entertainment critic, the ‘Realer nu’ hitmaker is unable to make good music in recent times because he has traded his career for chain smoking.
Speaking on ‘The Gist’ hosted by MzGee, George Britton said it is evident that Pappy Kojo has lost touch of making good music with his recent releases.
According to him, the career of the Fante Van Damme is being affected because he has turned into a full time smoker.
“The Pappy (Kojo) that was doing HipHop is now doing more of smoking music. I know Pappy is a full time smoker now. Before he used to smoke cigarette but now he’s moved to the other one which is deeply affecting his career,” he said
His comments is in reaction to the beef between his artistes and the rapper.
George Britton who admitted the fury was instigated because Pappy had turned down an opportunity to work with the duo years back added that they are currently helping the rapper to revive his career
” We just want to help Pappy Kojo get back to ‘balance’ his career. If you listen to the last song that he released, it was a bit dirty for me. It looks like Pappy has lost it”.
‘The Gist’ with MzGee airs on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm.
