Ghanaian music producer, Guilty Beatz has debunked claims that ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa demanded money to shoot video to their hit single ‘Akwaaba’.
The multiple award winning record producer explained that he had never been informed of such demands of any was made.
In a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’, Guilty Beatz said the reason there was no official video for the song was to be blamed on Mr Eazi and Pappy Kojo.
He explained that the busy schedules of both artistes didn’t allow for a video to be shot.
” Eazi was travelling, Pappy too was travelling and I needed them both to be around. So its all because of the timing that’s why we didn’t have a video.” he asserted
” Patapaa never asked for money to shoot the video. Well, I don’t because it never came to me that he wanted money so I don’t know about it” he added
According to him, the will be no video for the song because it has reached its relevance hence there’s no need for one at this point.
The Gist airs on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm.
