Award winning Highlife musician, Kuami Eugene has said his career has not been affected by the doom prophecy of Prophet Nigel Gaisie.

The ‘Angela’ hitmaker said he has had a good year despite the prediction on his career.

Prophet Nigel at his watch-night service on December 31, 2018 prophesized that 2019 would be a bad year for artistes Kuami Eugene, Kidi and Kwesi Arthur.

In a video which went viral, the founder and leader of True Word Prophetic Fire Ministry was heard saying, “This year 2019, the person called Kidi, this year is not a good year for him. Kuami Eugene is not a good year for him. Kwesi Arthur is not a good year for him,” he said

However, Kuami Eugene in an interview on Joy News said he has only released a single project this year which has been well received by his fans.

“This whole year, I’ve released just a single song and in just a month I had 2 million views. I’ve played every single show in the country. I’ve been to America for concerts. What else do you want God to do?” He said to host, Doreen Avio

He added that, ” I feel because people are not close to us, they are just saying what they want. I know what the man said, he said it because he’s a prophet but God works in mysterious ways and God is saying this is a very good year.

“This is the year I won album of the year so its not about what people say its about what God says.” he concluded
