Veteran Ghanaian Highlife musician, Ben Brako has said releasing a semi-nude picture of him and his wife on social media helped his brand.
Late last year, Ben Brako and his wife broke the internet when they shared semi-nude photos of themselves on social media.
The couple were in shared a warm hug with most vital parts only covered by a colourful African cloth.
The pictures raised eyebrows as many criticized the veteran musician for showing off a little too much on social media.
But the highlife crooner in a conversation with MzGee on ‘The Gist’ said the act raised is brand a notch higher.
“It helped my brand in the sense that it strengthened what I stand for. People realized I was serious for what I stood for.” he said
He noted that he was not perturbed by the hard hitting critics as he had carefully thought through his desicion before he posted the pictures.
