Singer, Adina Thembi says she couldn’t have chosen a better producer for her new album than Richie Mensah.

Speaking on Showbuzz on 3FM with MzGee, the multiple award-winning songstress describes her working relationship with the Lynx Entertainment boss and his outfit as a beautiful one. This, she reveals compelled her to quickly settle on Richie when his name popped up in the list of suggested producers for her album by her manager.

She revealed the album was originally planned to be produced in South Africa but the COVID-19 pandemic marred its intention so her management thought it wise to have it in Ghana with a Ghanaian producer and that was when Richie’s name came up.

“…when corona came, traveling was weird so we had to do it in Ghana. We had a few names and when Richie’s name came up, I thought of it as perfect.”

She continued, “…I met Richie at a very early stage of my career, after Stars of the Future and since then, we’ve stayed friends and worked together. So, he was the best person because he was there from the beginning and even saw a winner in me in the Stars of the Future competition.”

The 10-tracked album which is a fusion of Afropop, R&B and Highlife was produced by Richie Mensah with support from Lynx signee, KiDi, DJ Vyrusky and Clifford Machingafa.
