
The Chief Executive of Universal Music South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, Siplo Dlamini has eulogized Ghanaian artistes Sarkodie and Stonebwoy as they gradually dominate the diaspora market.
“Ghanaian artistes Sarkodie and Stonebwoy are gradually dominating other markets outside their country with their creative works. Their amazing works are gaining recognition and support from the Diaspora.” He explained
Speaking to MusicBusinessWorldwide about which country ought to be given attention aside Nigeria and Kenya, the entertainment mogul described Ghana music as a vibrant force that deserves much attention due to their diversity in appreciating multiple genres and sounds.
“I would choose Ghanaian based on the facts that they have a very strong representation in the UK and European countries and also they are very serious and very dynamic in the music and it reflects in their appreciation for multiple sounds in their country.” He opined.
