Maverick broadcaster Ekow Kelvin Taylor has launched a diatribe at Rapper Sarkodie for criticizing Opposition NDC’s National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi.
Sammy Gyamfi came under massive fire for using the unfortunate death of Black American George Floyd for partisan politics by sharing on social media an artwork which showed the Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensa and President Nana Akufo-Addo choking a ‘Ghanaian’ with a Voters Register.
Sarkodie did not dispute the good intentions with which the post was made but insisted it should be taken down because the issue remained a sensitive and serious one which makes it wrong for the NDC communications lead to exploit that way.
Sammy Gyamfi himself had dismissed those calling for his head saying he saw nothing wrong with sharing of a cartoon that depicts an injustice to illustrate another injustice.
Well some NDC sympathizers have also taken rapper Sarkodie to the cleaners.
Controversial Broadcaster Kelvin Taylor is however, upping the ante, by calling Sarkodie a hypocrite who did all he can in “2015 to help remove the erstwhile administration and yet is very quiet about the happenings under this government”.
He further questioned Sarkodie’s talent saying that is why he performs at less prestigious places abroad in the name of international tours.
“where is the talent, that’s why i am saying you travel to Europe and America, high school basket ball court is where you stage your shows and only to return to claim you went on an international tours”.
He then asked the Rapper to express his misgivings in a song if he is displeased with Sammy Gyamfi’s post.
