Artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson popularly referred to as Bull dog has ranked the Shatta-Samini beef, the greatest.
While addressing Sista Afia, Eno Barony and Freda Rhymz battle for lyrical superiority, Bulldog made reference to the impasse between two male musicians as his all-time best.
“The greatest beef that has ever happened in our space is Shatta Wale- Samini, nobody can ever doubt that. It went on till the acorn came. That was when you really see fans arguing, fighting”
Speaking to MzGee on 3FM’s Showbiz927, Bulldog who has managed the likes of 5X5, Iwan and is still managing dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, revealed he is in total support of the current feminine ‘beef’.
Bulldog also reacted to suggestion that Shatta and Samini did not optimize their beef while it was at its peak that is why their collaboration dubbed ‘Celebration’ did not accomplish much.
He revealed ‘celebration’ is just one of the many songs the two heavyweight artistes planned to add to their EP.
“I don’t know if I am spilling the beans but it is just one of the songs. The idea was to do and EP or an album together because both of them are huge brands and they have done this for years. They felt that just putting out a track won’t work, people want more than a track”.
He also disclosed that Samini initiated the collaboration with a request for a single track with Shatta Wale.
“Initially when the call came through from the Samini camp, they wanted a track but Shatta felt let’s do an EP so it was out of that EP that this came out and it was for the season, if you realize it was during December season”.
