Celebrated Ghanaian reggea/dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has said he and former industry arch rival, Shatta Wale are related by blood.
According to the ‘Shuga’ hitmaker, he found this out later after his brawl with the ‘Freedom’ hitmaker at this year’s VGMA.
The five-time VGMA ‘Reggae/Dancehall’ artiste of the year made this known while speaking in an interview on Beats 1 with Oldman Ebro.
Recall Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, the mother of Shatta Wale in an interview on Peace FM first made this known to the public.
She explained that the two are brothers from the Ahiableh’s Family in Volta Region of Ghana.
Speaking on the fracas, Stonebwoy explained to Ebro that all that is in the past and the two are in a harmonious relationship now.
” We did a press conference together. He (Shatta Wale) was overwhelmed that he gave me a kiss on my cheek. Later I also found out that we are family related”.
Stonebwoy is currently promoting his recently released inspirational song titled “Tuffseed”.
