Ghanaian music duo of identical twin brothers, DopeNation have disclosed that dancehall star, Shatta Wale doesn’t know them personally despite producing some of his hit songs.
According to them, they are yet to meet the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker in person although they have worked together on several projects.
Taking their turn on ‘The Gist’ hosted by MzGee, the ‘Zanku’ hitmakers said they had always interacted with Shatta Wale via WhatsApp.
The Lynx Entertainment signees revealed that they produced several hit songs for Shatta Wale including ‘Kpuu Kpaa’, ‘London girls’, ‘Aplanke’
“We’ve never met Shatta Wale. Kpuu Kpaa was produced in less than 4 hours. We actually got a call from him and the rest was just on WhatsApp and it has been a WhatsApp interaction till now,” they said
The duo also revealed they have produced several hit songs for artistes including Ebony, EL, Eazzy, Mr. Eazi, Pappy Kojo, among others.
