Gospel Artiste, Joe Mettle says he has decided to let go the seeming feud between himself and fellow Gospel Musician Patience Nyarko.
Patience Nyarko in a media outburst expressed her frustration over the attention Joe Mettle enjoyed.
The “Obi Nyanime” hit maker said Joe Mettle did not merit the hype he was receiving and only resampled hymns from churches like the Pentecostal Church of Ghana and Methodist Church of Ghana.
Reacting to comments by Patience Nyarko, the onetime Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year said “the issue is already gone” and that it was better to let sleeping dogs lie.
Commenting on the relationship the two Gospel Artiste had, Joe Mettle said they both enjoyed a cordial and mutual relationship as colleagues in the Gospel fraternity but they have never spoke on phone.
The “My Everything” singer discounted claims that there was disunity amongst Gospel Musicians in the country. He opined that it was the nature of human beings to “flow” with a person or an individual they are most comfortable with.
“Even as human beings no matter what it is, sometimes the are times that some may flow with others more than they do others. So I don’t believe that it is the disunity; I probably think it’s more like work relations” he told Giovanni on Showbiz360
Joe Mettle also said he “missed fellowship” with fellow Christians who would congregate at programs to sing worship songs to God due to Covid – 19 induced restrictions.
