Music duo of identical twin brothers, Dope Nation have refuted claims that there is a stern competition between them and label mates, Kuami Eugene and Kidi.
The multi talented duo indicated that they compliment each other at Lynx Entertainment rather than compete.
Taking their turn on ‘The Gist’ hosted by MzGee, the ‘Zanku’ hitmakers noted that they consider the label as a family.
” First off, we all need a bit of competition to be better artistes so at Lynx everyone is doing their best to make the label standout. So the only competition there is to ensure that everyone is doing his best so we all move up.
“Its a family thing, we are all brothers so I wouldn’t see it as competition. Its more of complimenting each other. So for instance, when we drop music Kidi and Kuami Eugene post on their pages and that shows how it is.” they stated
They also revealed that they had produced several hit songs for top artistes including Shatta Wale, EL, Eazzy, Mr. Eazi, Pappy Kojo, among others.
‘The Gist’ with MzGee airs on the Joynews Channel on MultiTV and on DSTV 421 on Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm.
