Mzbel has disclosed the health walks she used to organize few years back was sponsored by former first lady, Lordina Mahama.
The ’16 years’ hitmaker indicated that she has not been able to hold the walks since the NDC left power because there was no sponsorship.
She told MzGee in a conversation on ‘The Gist’ that Mrs Mahama directed the Ministry of Health to support her but since the change of power in 2016, she was no longer able to do so.
“I haven’t done the health walks in two years now because I was getting support from Lordina. She used to instruct the Ministry of Health to support us and all. But now everyone has either been changed or sacked.” she said
Mzbel who is a sympathizer of the opposition NDC also alleged that the NPP government has been sabotaging her gigs since they assumed power in 2017 because of her political affiliation.
