Ghanaian gospel singer, Celestine Donkor has revealed she once ate human excreta for survival.
The “Agbebolo” hitmaker who was narrating the hardship she had to endure in the past said she was forced to eat the human excreta due to extreme hunger.
Speaking to MzGee, the Celestial Praiz organizer narrated that she used to assist a house-help in the same compound house she grew up just in the bid to get food to eat.
According to her, the senior maid once forced her to eat the feaces of the madam’s infant before she would give her the food.
Left with no choice, Celestine Donkor said she had to do so because she couldn’t stand the hunger due to an earlier operation she had had.
” This song is to thank God for how far I’ve come. I have not gotten to the point where I want to but when I remember where I used to be and the story of my life, that is the reason for this song” she said
