Songstress, Mzbel has alleged that she was kicked out of a show because of a bigwig of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP)
According to her, she has not been able to perform any show since the NPP assumed power because of her political affiliation.
The ’16 years’ hitmaker who is a known sympathizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) revealed this to MzGee in an exclusive interview on ‘The Gist’.
She alleged that she is being sabotaged from all angles ever since the NPP assumed power in 2016.
Citing an instance, Mzbel said an event organizer kicked her out of a gig at which she was booked to perform because the guest speaker was a member of the NPP.
“I had two gigs last year and later on the organizers told me that they had to drop me because their special guest was an NPP person and the people who were bringing her said if I was on the bill, she won’t come”. she stated
She added that, “They’ve sabotaged me everywhere and now they want to sabotage the one thing that I have control over which is my voice. They want to scare me to the point where when I’m asked a question, I’ll say no comment”.
