Sultry Ghanaian actress, Salma Mumin has said support she will her colleague actor turned politician, John Dumelo in his parliamentary bid.
The 31 year old award winning actress indicated that John Dumelo aspiring for a parliamentary seat gives actors a more dignifying stance in society.
Speaking to MzGee on ‘The Gist’, the restaurant owner said actors from this part of the world are being looked down upon hence her excitement at Dumelo’s exploits.
” I felt amazing about his bid. People from this side of the world always look down on actors and actresses but I’m glad we’ve been able to prove a lot of people wrong,” she said
The stunning actress added that, “I’m so proud of John and I’m going to support him in whatever way I can”
John Dumelo on Saturday August 23, 2019 beat Madam Suzzy Afua Adoboe to emerge winner of the parliamentary primaries in the Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency.
The actor will represent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections.
