Veteran Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adjorlolo has dragged government over a proposal to build a film village in Kyebi, Eastern Region.
According to Mr Adjorlolo, those who arrived at the decision to build a film village in Kyebi instead of Kumasi did not think well.
Speaking to MzGee at the 5th edition of the Annual Golden Movie Awards, Mr Adjorlolo stressed that Kumasi is the hub of Ghanaian movies hence can not be by passed for such a project.
” If you are talking about Ghana films, the hub is in Kumasi whether you like it or not. Kumasi is where the production of film actually takes place. So if you are building a film village, you’d rather think of Kumasi. What’s Kyebi?” he quizzed.
A rather peeved Adjorlolo added that, ” Whoever sat down to think of Kyebi, I have a problem with that person.”
