Ghanaian rapper, Pappy Kojo has said he has only admiration for the only daughter of Ghana’s football legend, Abedi ‘Pele’ Ayew.
According to the ‘Balance’ hitmaker, although he likes her personality, he is not sexually attracted to the France based model as being speculated.
Pappy Kojo sent tongues wagging when he mentioned Imani Ayew in his hit single, ‘Balance’.
But the rapper, born Jason Gaisie in a conversation on with MzGee on Joy Prime’s ‘The Gist’ explained that he calls himself Imani Ayew because he sees her as someone untouchable and unapproachable.
Debunking claims that he has a crush on her, the Fante rapper explained that he does not even know her personally but sees her as someone who is ‘boujie’.
” I just like her personality. I don’t know her personally so I couldn’t describe her well in my song. But how I see is that She’s Abedi’s daughter, like royal and boujie and you can’t get close to me and that’s how I call myself,” he said
“Its not a crush. I actually call myself Imani Ayew cos’ I want to act boujie like you can’t get close to me. And that’s the whole thing. Its not me crushing on Imani Ayew.” he added
