Rapper Amerado Burner claims Nigeria cannot currently boast of any existing rappers as the West African country’s distinguished lyricists have all become singers.
Amerado weighed-in on the ongoing debate between Nigerians and Ghanaians on social media over which country has the best rappers, in an interview with MzGee on TV3.
“But Nigerians don’t have rappers, do they? Huge respect to M.I, they don’t have
rappers. All their rappers have turn into singers. Please it is a no match. Ghana got it”
Though some Ghanaians believe Nigeria has the best set of rappers due to their
dexterity in projecting the English language via the genre, in a sharp rebuttal Amerado cites Sarkodie’s win at the Black Entertainment Television [BET] Hip Hop awards to dismiss those claims.
“..Sark won the best flow at last year’s BET? So what are they saying?”
