Ghanaian Hiphop star, Pappy Kojo has denied being related to actress, Yvonne Nelson.
The ‘Balance’ hitmaker stated that the farthest relationship he has shared with the sultry actress is being close friends with her.
Reacting to an earlier statement by Yvonne Nelson that they were cousins, the award winning rapper said they are not in any way related.
Yvonne Nelson in an interview with MzGee debunked rumours that she was sexually involved with Pappy Kojo stating that they were related by blood.
Although she admitted they used to spend alot of time together, the mother of one indicated that they are family.
“Pappy is family and I think he’s a hot guy. We used to spend a lot of time together. He’s family, he’s my cousin. He’s Gaisie. My grandmum is Gaisie. We’re all from the same place and we’ve always known we are related. So even if we were feeling each other, that thing was holding us back”. the award winning actress told MzGee on ‘The Gist’.
However, Pappy Kojo who was asked the same question by MzGee categorically stated that there is no family ties between him and Yvonne.
Asked if the ‘Heels and Sneaker’ producer lied, the rapper born Jason Gaisie answered in the affirmative.
Taking his turn on The Gist, the Fante Van Damme said: “I never had a relationship with Yvonne. She was like a good friend of mine. We are not cousins. She lied”.
Pappy also spoke about the near beef between him and Keche Joshua, one half of music duo, Keche.
