Music duo, Keche have revealed their initial asking price to sign a management deal with Golden Empire Legacy Limited was $1 million.

According to the duo, the money was slashed because the company is an upcoming one.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with MzGee at the premiere of the group’s new music video at 4syte TV mansion, the ‘Aluguntugui’ hitmakers said they are surprised Ghanaians are skeptical they were signed for $500,000.

” In Tanzania, Diamond Platnumz is signing a deal for $1.5million so its surprising people think Keche can’t be signed for only $500,000.”

“We initially billed $1,000,000 but because they are a new company and they want to do more that’s why we settled on that especially after they gave us the contract and we saw all they wanted to do for us,” Keche Joshua stated

“So the deal is real” he added

The two year deal was accompanied by other packages, including a three-bedroom house each and an Elantra car each for the duo.

They released their first song after signing the deal titled ‘Odo’.
