Afrobeats singer, Wendy Shay has hinted that she will consider controversial dancehall ariste, Shatta Wale’s marriage proposal.
The Rufftown records signee indicated that she will have a personal chat with the ‘My level’ hitmaker about the issue.
Shatta Wale in a recent interview compared Wendy Shay to his estranged babymama, Shatta Michy saying, “I wanted Shatta Michy to be a girl like that for me”.
He added: “She [Wendy Shay] is the type of girl when I get, I’ll marry her today. I think she understands what she is doing.She is following rules, she is obeying.”
The ‘Astalavista’ singer in reaction expressed her delight over the proposal.
Speaking in an interview with MzGee, an elated Wendy confessed she admires Shatta Wale’s personality.
“I heard that…I think it is strictly between Shatta and me so I will give him the answer behind cameras. If you know Shatta Wale, you will know that he is a very free-spirited and open-minded person.
“I mean he is a very very very nice person. Very nice, that’s all I can say,” she added.
