Hazel Oyeye Onou popularly called White Money has won the 6th edition of Big Brother Naija. Born on the 6th of July, 1992, white money was born and bred in Enugu State which is his hometime. He spent many years in Enugu before he moved to Lagos to seek greener pastures. White Money didn’t have a rosy background or upbringing. He had to sell food with his mother to make ends meet while he was young.
He fended of competition from five other finalists: Pere, Liquorose, Emmanuel, Angel and Cross.
He was one of those tipped to win as massive campaigns were mounted in the run up have to the finale.
While the majority of the South-east people in Nigeria rooted for Whitemoney, the South-south states pulled their weight behind his main contender Liquorose.
In Lagos, Nigeria, which is a hotbed of activities, it had been a tough tussle between Liquorose and Whitemoney. While Whitemoney seems to have his stronghold in the Computer Village of Ikeja, Liquorose reigned supreme in the Surulere suburb with various groups championing the cause!
Push or shove, Whitemoney looked better for the money but then Liquorose appeared willing to just follow in the footsteps of Mercy Eke as the second woman to have won the reality TV show, a dream which was truncated with Whitemoney coming up tops!
