Gospel singer Bernard Amankwa has said Ghanaian women rights advocates in Ghana have no basis for their outcries on inequality.
He argued that Ghanaian women have been given the opportunity to serve in key positions in the country hence makes it baseless for them to suggest being sidelined.
Speaking as a panelist on ‘Gee Spot’, the Remember Me artiste stressed that he can not fathom the argument by Ghanaian women.
” I don’t see where Ghanaian women are coming from. We have a female Chief Justice prior to her, there was a female Chief Justice, the Chief of Staff is also a woman, the current EC boss and the immediate past one are all females so I don’t see the arguement.” he said
The panelist which included celebrity blogger Ameyaw Debrah, former beauty queen, Akua Amoakowaah and comedienne Jacinta deliberated on the assertion that women are liabilities to society than assets.
The Gee Spot with MzGee shows on Joy Prime, DStv 281 on Saturdays at 6.30 pm.
